The Colorado Springs Sky Sox broke a six-game losing streak by defeating the Omaha Royals, 7-5, on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Sky Sox starting pitcher Brian Tollberg had a solid outing pitching 5.0 innings allowing 3 runs (all earned) on 7 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. The Sox had five players with 2 hits including Chris Donnels' 2 for 2 day after taking over for Andy Tracy in the 3rd. Tracy was hit by a D. J. Carrasco pitch with 2 outs and was forced to leave the game. The Sox and Royals continue their series Monday night begining at 7:05 with Travis Driskill (3-5, 4.58) taking the hill for the Sox against Les Walrond (1-0, 1.29).
