
South Georgia Wildcats Announce Free Giveaways For Beat Florida Night May 12th

ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats, in conjunction with the Albany Herald announced today that the first 1000 people through the door at the Albany Civic Center on May 12 for the South Division showdown between the Wildcats and the Florida Firecats will each receive a "Growl Power" T-shirt to wear during the game. In addition, the next 1000 people through the door will each receive a pair of Thunder Sticks to fill Cooper Tire Field with tons of noise that evening.
"There has been a lot of excitement surrounding this particular game," says Wildcats General Manager Darren McPhail. "This is one that we have had marked on our calendars since before the season began. With the help of the Albany Herald, whose support for the Wildcats has been incredible in our first three seasons, we are going to make this night very special for the fans in the South Georgia area."
The 3-1 Wildcats are currently atop the South Division in first place, with the Firecats one game behind at 3-2. South Georgia is 2nd in the league in passing offense and total offense.
The Albany Herald will be the official sponsor of the May 12th game at the Albany Civic Center on Cooper Tire Field. For ticket information, call the Civic Center Box Office at 430-5204.
