Yard Dawgz to battle division rival

Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
The Yard Dawgz will host their division rival, the Tulsa Talons, for what could be the Dawgz biggest challenge of the season. The Talons are currently ranked 2nd in the af2 coaches poll and are an impressive 4-0 on the season.
Coming off of a disappointing loss at Boise, the Yard Dawgz are looking to make a statement when the Talons come to town. "There's no love lost between these two teams," said Head Coach John Fitzgerald. "It will be a fight from start to finish, maybe even before and after the game."
Both the Yard Dawgz and talons lead the league in seperate offensive categories, making the Cinco de Mayo matchu-up nothing less than intense. The Dawgz lead the league in total offense and the Talons lead the league in points scored per game.
Adding to the intense rivalry between the two teams is former Yard Dawgz QB Craig Strickland, who became the Talons offensive coordinator after retiring from the af2. Strickland played for the Talons for four years before becoming a member of the Yard Dawgz. Moving down the turnpike with Strickland was WR/DB Al Hunt, who has become a staple in Oklahoma City and is one of the Yard Dawgz most recognizable players.
All Yard Dawgz games will be broadcast live on KTOK AM1000 and online at www.ktok.com. Each game can be viewed by clicking the B2 Networks link found on the Yard Dawgz website, www.okcyarddawgz.com.
Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
