
South Carolina's Stevenson Suspended Five Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. â The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended South Carolina left wing Jeremy Stevenson for five games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #640 at Mississippi on February 13.
At 20:00 of the third period, Stevenson was assessed a match penalty under Rule 52(a) Deliberate Injury of Opponent.
Stevenson is suspended five games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.
Stevenson missed South Carolina's game at Pensacola (Feb. 14) and will miss South Carolina's games vs. Gwinnett (Feb. 18), vs. Columbia (Feb. 19), at Greenville (Feb. 21) and vs. Greenville (Feb. 22).
