Sounders FC Advances to 2021 Leagues Cup Semifinals

SEATTLE, WASH. - Following tonight's 3-0 victory over Tigres UANL in the 2021 Leagues Cup quarterfinals, Seattle Sounders FC has advanced to the tournament's semifinal stage, where it faces the winner of Thursday evening's match between Orlando City SC and Santos Laguna.

Major League Soccer is due to release dates, locations, kickoff times and broadcast information for the semifinal matches at the conclusion of Thursday's quarterfinal round. Should Sounders FC host its semifinal match, tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the public starting this Friday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. PT, with an exclusive presale window for Season Ticket Members beginning earlier that day at 9:00 a.m. PT. Tickets are available exclusively through Ticketmaster.

Additionally, as a result of advancing to the Leagues Cup semifinal, Sounders FC's MLS regular-season match vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC - previously set for September 15 at Lumen Field - has been rescheduled to October 9 at 6:00 p.m. PT.

The Rave Green are competing in Leagues Cup - the official annual single-elimination tournament featuring clubs from MLS and Liga MX, Mexico's topflight league - for the first time, with a 5-8-2 all-time record against Liga MX clubs, with all fixtures prior to tonight's match coming in Concacaf Champions League play. An MLS-run event, Leagues Cup tickets are not included as part of Sounders FC's Season Ticket Memberships and must be purchased separately. However, Season Ticket Members wishing to purchase tickets have the ability to take advantage of preferred pricing rates, which provide savings of least 30 percent off.
