MLS Disciplinary Committee Decisions Announced

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found New York City FC defender Maxime Chanot guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 24th minute of New York City FC's match against Toronto FC on Aug. 7. Chanot has been fined an undisclosed amount for his action.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Los Angeles FC midfielder Eduard Atuesta guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 76th minute of the Los Angeles Football Club's match against San Jose Earthquakes on Aug. 8. Atuesta has been fined an undisclosed amount for his action. The yellow card that San Jose Earthquakes forward Jeremy Ebobisse received as a result of this incident will be absolved from his yellow card accumulation total and any disciplinary points from San Jose's total will be dismissed.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Los Angeles Galaxy forward Kevin Cabral guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 90+ minute of their match against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Aug. 8. Cabral has been fined an undisclosed amount for his action.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Los Angeles FC in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy during the 90+ minute of the team's match on Aug. 8 against San Jose Earthquakes. LAFC has been issued a warning for their first violation of the league's policy this season.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, LAFC players Raheem Edwards and Latif Blessing each have been fined an undisclosed amount for their actions in inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Inter Miami CF Head Coach Phil Neville in violation of the league's policy regarding entering the field of play. Neville has been fined an undisclosed amount for his action in the 32nd minute of Inter Miami's match against Nashville SC on Aug. 8.
