
Sound Tigers Sign Lamoureux to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Mario Lamoureux has been signed to a Professional Try Out.
Lamoureux, 26, has spent the first 34 games of this season with the Quad City Mallards of the East Coast Hockey League. He currently leads the Mallards with 39 points, which ties him for eighth overall for points in the league.
The Grand Forks, N.D., native has appeared in three American Hockey League games in his career, all with the Oklahoma City Barons during the 2013-14 season. He had one assist in those three games to go along with four penalty minutes.
The 5-foot-9 Lamoureux attended the University of North Dakota from 2008-2012. He is the older brother of U.S. Women's Hockey Olympians Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux.
