Sat., Jan 17 - Penguins 0 at WORCESTER 4

Worcester put up three goals in the first period en route to a 4-0 shutout win over the Penguins at DCU Center. Former Penguin Bryan Lerg capped off the scoring in the first with a power play goal with 28.3 seconds left until the intermission. Sharks goalie Troy Grosenick made 25 saves for his first shutout of the season.

Sun., Jan 18 - Penguins 4 at PROVIDENCE 5

Alexander Khokhlachev broke a 4-4 tie with 1:29 remaining in regulation to lift the Bruins past the Penguins, 5-4. Ben Youds tallied two goals and Matt Lindblad added a goal and two assists for the Bruins. W-B/Scranton's Scott Wilson (2G- 1A) and Carter Rowney (1G-2A) each set AHL career highs with three points in the contest.

The Week Ahead

Wed., Jan 21 - PENGUINS vs. St. John's

The IceCaps (17-19-5-1) begin a five-game road swing on Wednesday in W-B/Scranton and currently sit in fifth place in the Atlantic Division. Carl Klingberg is tied for the league lead in game-winning goals with five after netting overtime winners against Portland on Jan. 14 and Jan. 17.

Fri., Jan 23 - Penguins at NORFOLK

Sat., Jan 24 - Penguins at NORFOLK

The Admirals (15-21-2-2) are in fifth place in the East Division. The Admirals have been held to two or less goals in 12 of their last 13 games, but have gone 5-4-2-2. Jason LaBarbera is 4-1-0 versus the Penguins this season with a 1.20 goals against average, a .947 save percentage and one shutout. Norfolk is second in the AHL with seven shorthanded goals scored, including a league-leading five on the road.

- Matt Murray is second among rookie goaltenders and fourth in the league in goals against average (2.04).

- Derrick Pouliot ranks first among AHL rookies with 14 power play points (4G-10A).

- Scott Wilson's three-point performance (2G-1A) on Sunday versus Providence was a career high and his fourth multi- point game of the season.

- After beginning 2014-15 with a 14-0-0-0 record when registering three or more goals, the Penguins have lost their last two such games.

- Jayson Megna is tied for second in the league with four multiple-goal games.
