Somerset Patriots To Host Spring Training At Diamond Nation

Bridgewater, NJ - The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced that the team will host its Spring Training for the third consecutive season at Diamond Nation in Flemington, NJ this April.

Somerset Patriots Spring Training will take place from Tuesday, April 13th through Monday, April 19th. This year, the Patriots will be playing exhibition games against the Camden Riversharks, who are staying north this spring as well. The schedule for Spring Training is as follows:

Tuesday, April 13th

12:00 pm-3:00 pm- Workout @ Diamond Nation

Wednesday, April 14th

10:00 am- 1:00 pm- Workout @ Diamond Nation

Thursday, April 15th

9:00 am- 12:00 pm- Workout @ Diamond Nation

1:00 pm- Game vs. Camden Riversharks @ Diamond Nation

Friday, April 16th

5:30 pm- Game vs. Camden Riversharks @ Campbell's Field in Camden, NJ

Saturday, April 17th

9:00 am- 11:00 am- Workout @ Diamond Nation

12:00 pm- Intra-squad Game @ Diamond Nation

Sunday, April 18th

9:00 am- 11:00 am- Workout @ Diamond Nation

12:00 pm- Intra-squad Game @ Diamond Nation

Monday, April 19th

9:00 am-11:00 am- Workout @ Diamond Nation

"Having Spring Training the past few seasons at Diamond Nation has really helped our team get ready for the season. The facilities allow our guys to work out and train in a state of the art location to be ready for Opening Day and the defense of our title," said Patrick McVerry, President/ General Manager of the Somerset Patriots Baseball Club.

Diamond Nation is the parent company to both the Jack Cust Baseball Academy and the Jennie Finch Softball Academy. Diamond Nation is dedicated to providing top-level instruction and facilities for serious players looking to take their game to the next level. Diamond Nation allows players the opportunity to learn and train properly in order to advance their skills and playing abilities. The 65-acre campus consists of 250,000 square feet of indoor facilities, 700,000 square feet of turf fields, and the ability to play up to 10 games simultaneously.
