Sofia Jakobsson Named to Sweden's Roster for UEFA Nations League

San Diego Wave FC midfielder Sofia Jakobsson has been named Sweden's roster ahead of the final group stage matches for the UEFA Women's National League.

Sweden will travel to play Switzerland at Swissporarena in Lucerne on Friday, Dec. 1 at 11:00 a.m. PT. The Blue and Yellow will then head to Spain to play at La Rosaleda Stadium on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Sweden (2-1-1) currently sits second in group play with seven points, five points behind current group leader Spain.

Jakobsson made her debut for Sweden in 2011 and has since represented her country at four World Cups and the Olympic Games. Internationally, Jakobsson has appeared in 152 matches with 23 goals.

Since joining the Wave ahead of the club's inaugural season, Jakobsson has appeared in 36 games (21 starts), while scoring three goals.
