Get ready for 2024 with some Spirit draft facts.
All 14 NWSL clubs will gather at the Anaheim Convention Center in the new year for the upcoming season's draft. Scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. local time on Friday, January 12, this year's draft will be broadcast on ION Television for the first two hours until moving to ION Plus at 10 p.m. EST.
The Washington Spirit currently holds two picks in the first round (seventh and 13th overall) of Friday night's NWSL Draft. The seventh overall pick represents Washington's natural 2024 first round pick while the 13th overall selection of this year's draft was acquired in a draft night trade last year.
