
Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride Host 10th Annual District 5 Turkey Distribution Alongside Community Partners

ORLANDO, Fla. - On Tuesday morning, Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride, the Orlando City Foundation, District 5 Commissioner Regina Hill and the Salvation Army Orlando Area Command hosted the 10th Annual Turkey Distribution Presented by Publix at Exploria Stadium. Along with supporting partners Pepsi, Frito Lay and Spice World, the annual community event provided meals to 4,000-5,000 residents of District 5, which includes Parramore, the neighborhood that houses the Club's downtown soccer venue.
The event provided saw complimentary Thanksgiving meals distributed to the community including over 1,000 turkeys and all the sides needed to make the traditional holiday dinner. Additionally, through the support of Salvation Army Orlando Area Command, services and goods were provided to the unhoused community, including toiletries, clothing, non-perishable foods and haircuts.
Volunteers at the event included members of the Club's front office, Foundation board members, Club partners, players and staff from the Club's teams, and more.
