San Diego Wave FC Transfers Defender Sintia Cabezas to Olympique de Marseille Féminin

SAN DIEGO - San Diego Wave FC today announced the permanent transfer of Colombian international Sintia Cabezas to Olympique de Marseille Féminin for an undisclosed transfer fee. As part of the transaction, Cabezas has been officially recalled from her loan with Levante Unión Deportiva Femenina, effective immediately. Additionally, in the event that Marseille permanently transfers Cabezas, the Wave will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee.

Cabezas was signed by San Diego in January 2025 and was loaned to Lexington SC of the USL Super League for the 2025 season. Following a successful stint with Lexington, the defender was loaned out to Levante Unión Deportiva Femenina.

TRANSACTION: San Diego Wave FC recalls the loan ondefender Sintia Cabezas from Levante Unión Deportiva Femenina. Following the recall, the Club agreed to a permanent transfer of Cabezas to Olympique de Marseille Féminin for an undisclosed fee.
