Calgary Roughnecks News Release
Calgary, AB - More than 100 young women are expected to attend tryouts for the Calgary Roughnecks dance team, the Drill Crew, this Saturday (October 7, 2006).
The audition is to be held at Cardel Place (11950 Country Village Link N.E.) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
"The Drill Crew is universally recognized as the best dance team in the entire National Lacrosse League," said Mitch Redshaw, the Roughnecks Director of Lacrosse Operations, "and we have no intention of losing that honour."
Redshaw added, "The Drill Crew is comprised of 16 - 20 dancers, and as we expect several of last year's girls to try out again, the competition for the few open spots will be extremely tough."
