Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
The Binghamton Mets have decided on makeup dates and game times for the contests postponed April 5th-8th in their season-opening four-game series at Akron. Because the B-Mets aren't scheduled to return to Akron this season, all four games will be made up during the three series the teams are scheduled play at NYSEG Stadium.
The first two games will be made up as part of doubleheaders on Monday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 8th. Both of those twinbills will start at 6:05 p.m. The third postponed contest will be made up on Tuesday, June 26th as part of a doubleheader starting at 5:35 p.m. The fourth and final doubleheader will take place on Saturday, September 1st at 6:05 p.m.
The B-Mets and Akron will now face each other 15 times at NYSEG Stadium this season, with each of their three series lasting five games. All of the doubleheader contests are scheduled for seven innings.
