Snow Activated from Disabled List

Sevierville, Tenn. - The Seattle Mariners announced a roster move on Wednesday affecting the Jackson Generals prior to their game against the Tennessee Smokies Wednesday night in East Tennessee. Right-handed pitcher Forrest Snow has been activated from the disabled list, while righty-handed pitcher Andrew Kittredge has been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma.

Snow, 27, was placed on the disabled list May 11 after appearing in three games with the Generals. The 6'6" righty went 0-1 while allowing four runs on six hits in 3.2 innings of work.

The Seattle native also spent parts of 2012, 2013 and 2014 pitching for the Generals. Last year, Snow went 10-9 with a 4.17 ERA over 29 appearances (20 starts) with Triple-A Tacoma and was named a Pacific Coast League All-Star. He led the Rainiers' staff with 96 strikeouts.

Kittredge, 26, returns to Triple-A where he spent parts of 2013 and 2015. The Spokane native appeared in 11 games and made three starts with the Generals this year, going 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA. He struck out 24 while walking only seven in 24 innings of work.

The righty-hander split last season between Jackson and Tacoma, With the Rainiers, he went 0-1 with a 5.31 ERA in 21 appearances. He posted a 3.03 ERA in 32.2 innings for the Generals.

Jackson's roster now stands at 25 active players with three on the disabled list. Snow will continue wearing No. 36.
