Smokies Announce Roster Moves

KODAK, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, Double-A minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announced this afternoon that INF Justin Bour and OF Jae-Hoon Ha have both been activated from the disabled list. In a corresponding roster move, OF Pin-Chieh Chen has been sent to the Class High-A Daytona Cubs. All moves are immediate, with Bour and Ha being available for tonight's second-half opener against the Chattanooga Lookouts in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The Smokies roster is set at 25 active players, which is the league maximum.

Bour rejoins the team after going on the DL on April 21. The 25-year-old first baseman played in 15 games this season and holds a .216 batting average (11-for-51) with two doubles, a pair of home runs and 14 RBIs. The Centreville, Va. native was the Cubs' 25th round draft pick in the 2009 draft out of George Mason University.

Ha, 22, was batting .305 (25-for-82) with five doubles, a home run before being placed on the DL on May 7. In 25 games, he collected 13 RBIs, 13 walks and six stolen bases. The Jin Ju City, South Korea native signed with the Cubs as a non-drafted free agent in 2008.

Chen, 21, hit .333 (4-for-12) with a triple and a RBI in eight games for the Smokies this season. The Cubs signed the Taiwan native as a non-drafted free agent in 2009.
