
Smallwood Signs With Warriors

Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced that 15-year-old Jakin Smallwood has committed to the Warriors and the Western Hockey League with the signing of a Standard Player Agreement.
Smallwood, C/5'10"/160lbs, is from Leduc, Alberta and was drafted by the Warriors in the 5th round, 92nd overall, at the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. Smallwood played last season with the Leduc Oil Kings in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League, he led his team in scoring and was 12th in league scoring with 28 goals and 59 points in 35 games, and was a member of Team North in the AMBHL All-Star Game. At the 2016 Alberta Cup, Smallwood had three goals and four points in five games.
