
Oil Kings Sign Bowman

EDMONTON, ALTA - The Edmonton Oil Kings have signed forward Nick Bowman to a Standard WHL Player Contract today announced general manager Randy Hansch.
Bowman, who is 6'0, 187-pounds, collected 27 points (16G,11A) in 28 games with the Sherwood Park Kings (Midget AAA) last season. He also scored twice and added four assists in six playoff games.
The Sherwood Park, AB native was selected in the 6th round (114th overall) by Edmonton at the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. In 2014-15 he recorded 33 points (16G,17A) in 31 games with the Sherwood Park Flyers (Bantam AAA).
"We are very pleased to have Nick join the Oil Kings organization," said Hansch. "He is a solid two-way forward who in his first midget season with the Kings had a productive year of development and played in some very key situations both offensively and defensively. We look forward to watching him grow and develop in our program."
