SLC Stars Announce 2023-24 Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, today released their 50-game 2023-24 schedule. The franchise's eighth season in Utah tips off on the road on Nov. 11 at the Santa Cruz Warriors (Golden State affiliate) in new Stars head coach Steve Wojciechowski's debut. The Stars will then return to play their home opener at the Maverik Center on Nov. 13 versus G League Ignite, a team of elite NBA Draft eligible players. The Stars then will keep the home court advantage as they face off in a back-to-back set against the Stockton Kings on Nov. 14 and Nov. 16.

The majority of home games during the NBA G League 2023-24 season will be played at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, with select games to be played at the Delta Center. Season tickets for the 24-home game slate are on sale now on slcstars.com or by calling/texting (801) 325-STAR.

The Stars 2023-24 campaign will once again consist of 24 home games, 24 road games and two neutral site games at the 2023 NBA G League Winter Showcase played from Dec. 19-22. The two-part schedule returns with teams playing 14 games to determine qualification and seeding for the annual Showcase Cup tournament from Nov. 10-Dec. 17. Following the Showcase Cup, team records and statistics reset for the traditional 34-game regular season.

Stars games are family friendly, affordable, and fun, as they offer the chance to watch current and future Jazz players compete on the court. Game nights also include access to the University of Utah Health Kids Zone, featuring bounce houses, balloon artists and face painters, as well as postgame player autographs. Key Stars match ups include the franchise's return to México City for a back-to-back of regular season games on Feb. 4 and 5. Salt Lake City has two home matchups with G League Ignite during showcase cup play. They kick off the 2023-24 season with Ignite in their opener at the Maverik Center on Nov. 13 and compete again on Dec. 16. SLC will also travel northeast for a rare visit to Cleveland, Ohio, the home of the Cleveland Charge (Cavaliers affiliate), on Jan. 2.

Salt Lake City's month-by-month breakdown includes eight games in November (four home, four away), 10 games in December (four home, four away, two neutral site at Showcase), 11 games in January (six home, five away), nine games in February (six home, three away) and 12 games in March (four home, eight away).
