
Slammers Winning Streak Moves to Five After Win vs Gateway Saturday Night

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy defeated the Gateway Grizzles Saturday night 4-1.
The Slammers were led by a dominant pitching performance from Shane Bryant who threw 6.2 innings giving up one run and striking out eleven.
Joliet had a big 6th inning with Trey Fulton hitting an RBI double that scored Trenton Hill. Fulton would then end up scoring thanks to a throwing error pushing the Slammers lead to 3-1. Travis Bolin would also hit an RBI double that scored RJ Thompson stretching the lead to 4-1.
Tonight's Merchants and Manufacturers Bank Player of the Game is Shane Bryant who picked up the win with a stand out performance.
The Slammers are back home tomorrow to wrap up their series against the Grizzlies at 1:05 p.m.
