Alabama Slammers News Release
PELHAM, AL. â The Alabama Slammers today announced that the team will be hosting it's first ever "Faith Night" this Friday, January 9th at 7:05 p.m. from the Pelham Civic Complex against the Miami Manatees.
As part of the event, Christian Recording Artists Brother's Keeper will be performing a free post-game concert for hockey fans attending the game. Brother's Keeper's 1999 self-titled debut album garnered them plenty of radio airplay-particularly the #1 charting "Rain On." The new album from this threesome, Cover Me, reflects the next step in its musical evolution.
Tickets start as low as $12 for the concert and game and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations, or by calling 715-6000 or online at ticketmaster.com. Groups of ten or more can order their tickets through the Slammers office by calling 328-7825.
The WHA2 has six member teams for the 2003 â 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Each team will play a 60-game schedule. Every game will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
