
Slammers Drop Series Opener vs Traverse City

Joliet Slammers News Release
Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy lost to the Traverse City Beach Bums 3-2 Friday night, snapping their ten game win streak.
The Slammers started the scoring in the bottom of the 2nd when Ridge Hoopii-Haslam walked with the bases loaded to bring home Trey Fulton making it 1-0.
Traverse City bounced back scoring in the top of the 3rd with Will Kengor hitting an RBI single to even it at one.
Joliet scored again in the bottom of the 5th when Trey Fulton hit an RBI single that scored London Lindley.
Luke Lowery hit a two-run double in the top of the 8th to put the Beach Bums on top 3-2.
Tonight's Merchants and Manufacturers Bank Player of the Game is Trey Fulton who went 3-5 with a run and an RBI.
The Slammers are back home tomorrow to continue their series against the Traverse City Beach Bums at 6:05 p.m.
