Mississauga, Ontario. - The College Park Skyhawks (1-0) opened the 2023-24 season with a victory over Raptors 905 (0-2), 118-101, on Sunday afternoon in Mississauga, Ontario. Schmidt, the Skyhawks' third head coach in team history, is the first to win his first game at the helm of the club.
Chris Silva recorded a game-high 27 points and 10 rebounds to secure his first double-double of the season. Silva led the team with 15 double-doubles during the 2022-23 season.
