AUGUSTA, N.J. - *Every Sussex starter picked up at least one base hit as the Skyhawks dismantled the Atlantic City Surf 9-2 on Sunday afternoon at Skylands Park.

Centerfielder Ron Perodin went three for five with an RBI to lead the Skyhawks offensively. Shortstop Kevin Rios and catcher Yohanny Valera each drove in two runs for Sussex.

The Skyhawks put runs on the board in each of the first four innings to jump out to a 5-1 lead. Sussex scored two runs in the bottom of the first when Matt Weston stroked a single that scored Rios from second. Perodin drove in Jay Yaconetti with a single in the second. Alex Frazier drove in Weston in the third, and Rios doubled home Perodin in the fourth to make it 5-1.

The Skyhawks added two more runs in both the bottom of the seventh and bottom of the eighth to secure the win.
