Quebec starting pitcher Orlando Trias was unhittable in this one as he fanned four and walked four en route to a no-hitter, the second in Can-Am League history. The masterful performance by Trias ran his record to 7-2 with Quebec and improved the Capitales to 24-16 in the second half. Capitales 1B Eddie Lantigua and 2B Jean-Michel Rochon-Salvas led the way offensively. The duo combined to go 6-for-8 with three runs scored and two RBI. Nashua starting pitcher Jason Paul also pitched well in the shadow of Trias' gem. Paul allowed two runs on seven hits and struck out seven in 7 2/3 innings, but was stuck with the tough-luck loss.

Skyhawks LF Alex Frazier also had a good game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Atlantic City SS Anthony Granato was 2-for-5 with a solo home run in defeat.

The Worcester Tornadoes scored four runs in the fourth inning to take a 4-0 lead, but saw that lead vanish when the Rapidz scored four runs of their own in the sixth inning. The Worcester bats were too much in the end, though, as the Tornadoes scored two more times in the seventh inning to take a 6-4 lead, the same margin they would eventually win by. Worcester LF Francisco Caraballo led the way at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run, his 20th of the year, two runs scored and a pair of RBI. Tornadoes reliever Ryan Lobban notched his fourth win of the season and closer John Birtwell struck out the side in the ninth inning for his 13th save.
