Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced the hiring of Jason Hamm to serve as the assistant for reigning CBA Coach of the Year Dave Joerger's 2004-05 squad, pending CBA League approval. Hamm most recently served as a Special Assistant Coach for the Golden State Warriors and former CBA coaching legend Eric Musselman. He brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience after playing at the collegiate level for Bill Mussleman and South Alabama.

Following his playing career, Hamm served as the Assistant Coach for McNeese State (Louisiana) from 1998 – 2000 and also at Longwood University (Virginia) from 2001-02. He broke into the NBA with the Golden State Warriors (2002-04) as a Video Scout for Coach Eric Musselman before being promoted to the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. According to Coach Dave Joerger, "We are extremely excited to have Jason on board with us in Sioux Falls. He is an energetic and bright individual who will greatly benefit the Skyforce organization."

The Skyforce open their 2004-05 season on Friday, November 19th when they travel to Bismarck to take on the Dakota Wizards. The Skyforce home opener will be on Saturday, November 20th when they host the Wizards. For ticket information, please contact the Skyforce office at (605)332-0605.
