Rockford, IL. Tomorrow is the "Big Day" for Lighting Head Coach Chris Daleo and the Lightning Staff. Tuesday night, not only will Coach Daleo will make his picks in the CBA 2004 Draft, but also the new and improved Rockford Lightning logo will be unveiled.
Any player who was eligible to be selected in the 2004 NBA Draft is eligible for the CBA Draft. The draft consists of six rounds. Coach Daleo will pick his rookies live via teleconference at 7 p.m. from JD's Bar and Grill (inside the North Towne). There will be drink specials and door prizes, plus Freddie Flash and the Lightning Girls will be on hand to help celebrate the Bolt's first step towards a CBA Championship. "I'm ready to have a good time," says Coach Daleo, "the draft party is always a positive way to start the pre-season."
In addition to the draft festivities, the Lightning will unveil their new logo and colors to the public. Merchandise featuring the new logo will be available for purchase. Come help the Bolts kick off the 2004-2005 season with a bang!
