
Skyforce Keeps on Playoff Track, Defeats Armor

Sioux Falls S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Springfield Armor 124-109 Saturday night at the Sanford Pentagon. Sioux Falls put on an offensive clinic, outscoring the Armor in three of four quarters and finishing the night with seven scorers in double figures.
Springfield took a one point lead into the locker room to close the first half, but Sioux Falls shot 59.1 percent in the third quarter and only allowed 19 points. Sioux Falls led by as many as 14 in the quarter, a 15-point swing from the end of the half.
Two players scored in double figures while making their Skyforce debuts. Chris Allen and Craig Smith were both acquired on Friday and came off the bench in their first Skyforce appearances. Allen scored 15 points and Craig Smith - also making his NBADL debut - finished the night with 13.
Four Sioux Falls players shot 50 percent or better from three to lead the team to a 48.3 percent showing on the night. Henry Walker (5-of-8) led the way from downtown followed by Tre Kelley (4-of-7), Allen (3-of-4) and Larry Drew II (2-of-4).
Sioux Falls (25-18) finished with seven players in double figures led by Walker's 27-point performance. Kelley scored 19, Anthony Mason Jr. finished with 17, Alex Oriakhi netted 15, Allen and Smith finished with their aforementioned 15 and 13, respectively, and Drew rounded scoring out with 10. Drew and Oriakhi both achieved double-doubles as Drew dished a game-high 12 assists and Oriakhi pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.
Springfield (18-24) was led by Khalif Wyatt's game-high 30 points, and Larry Anderson and Willie Reed both finished with double-doubles. Anderson scored 24 points with 13 rebounds and Reed finished with an even 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Sioux Falls visits Iowa Monday at 7 p.m. CT. Springfield hosts Erie Monday at 7 p.m. ET.
