Skyforce Announces 2010-11 Training Camp Invitees

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Oct. 30, 2010) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today eight players that will bypass the 2010 NBA Development League Draft and attend training camp which is set to begin on Monday, Nov. 8. The training camp invitees include Jamal Abu- Shamala, Leemire Goldwire, Anthony Harris, Ralph Holmes, Anthony Mason, Jr., Chris McCray, John Millsap and Brandon Smith.
The eight training camp invitees are a combination of returning players, an allocation player and local tryout attendees. Goldwire and McCray are considered returning players since they appeared in at least one regular season game for the Skyforce last season. Mason, Jr. qualifies as an allocation player after being waived by the Miami HEAT during training camp and Abu-Shamala, Harris, Holmes, Millsap and Smith were signed by the league following their impressive showings at the Sioux Falls tryout.

The Skyforce will hold their 2010 NBA D-League Draft party at Pizza Ranch located at 2717 W. 41st St. in Sioux Falls on Monday, Nov. 1 from 6-9 p.m. Fans unable to attend can follow the live draft board or join a live chat at nbadleague.com.
Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs for the 2010-11 season are on sale. Discounts and benefits are also available for groups of 10 or more. Single game tickets will go on sale in early November.
