PORTLAND, Ore. - Mark Bellhorn hit a fifth-inning solo home run and Paul Phillips' triple led to the go-ahead run in the eighth as the Colorado Springs Sky Sox beat the Portland Beavers 2-1 before 4,057 at PGE Park Thursday night.

The Sky Sox (17-9) won the final three games of the four-game set to leave Portland with a 3-1 series victory. The Beavers (13-15) will take on an another division rival when they open a four-game series with the Salt Lake Bees at PGE Park Friday night.

With the game tied at 1-1 after seven, Phillips reached on a one-out triple to the corner in right; pinch-runner Mike McCoy then came in with the go-ahead run on pinch-hitter Kenny Perez' sac fly to right.

Prior to that, starters Cesar Ramos and Alan Johnson dictated the pace.
