TONIGHT'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
A rematch of the 2021 WNBA Finals in which the Chicago Sky won in four games, clinching the title on 10/17/2021 at Wintrust Arena
Diamond DeShields returned to Chicago for the first time. She played four seasons with the Sky, winning a title in 2021 and was an All-Star and All-WNBA Second Team member in 2019
Featured three of just nine active former WNBA MVPs: Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi and Tina Charles
NEXT UP: The Sky will head back on the road to play the Atlanta Dream on Friday, June 3. Tipoff at Gateway Center Arena at College Park is at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be aired on Bally Sports Southeast and the Marquee Sports Network.
This is a Commissioner's Cup game and the Sky remain undefeated in those games at 3-0 after their May 24 win over the Indiana Fever.
The Dream holds a 5-3 record and will play the Minnesota Lynx at home tomorrow before playing the Sky on Friday. They have a 1-2 record in Commissioner's Cup games. Rhyne Howard, the first pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft, leads the Dream with averages of 16.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Cheyenne Parker averages 10.6 points and 6.5 rebounds while Erica Wheeler averages 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

The Sky went up 16-8 after a 16-8 run from the start of the game to 3:11 in the first quarter
The Mercury took their first lead of the game, 42-41, after outscoring the Sky 12-6 in the first 4:08 of the third period
Sky went on a 17-6 run over the final 7:20 of the game to take and sustain the lead

Tina Charles led the Mercury with nine first half points
The Mercury scored 31 points in the third quarter - more than the team's entire first half (28)

Kahleah Copper reached 100 career steals
Candcae Parker passed Candice Dupree for 6th on the all-time rebounds list
Allie Quigley collected her 516th career defensive rebound, tying her with Elena Delle Donne for 6th on the Sky's all-time defensive rebound list
Courtney Vandersloot reached a season-high 18 points, 12 of which were in the fourth quarter
Vandersloot accounted for 66.7% of the team's points in the fourth quarter (12 points)

Diana Taurasi received two technical fouls and was ejected at the 3:43 mark of the second quarter
Tina Charles has tied Tina Thompson for 13th on the all-time blocks list with a total of 372 in her career
