
Sky Blue FC Ownership Group Grows with Addition of Ed Nalbandian

Howell, NJ - Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) welcomed today businessman and tech author Ed Nalbandian as a new minority owner.
Nalbandian joins majority owners Tammy and Phil Murphy and owner Steven Temares. The club also named Tammy Murphy team Chair and Nalbandian Vice Chair.
"As a former player, professional youth coach, and huge fan of the NWSL, it's a dream come true to join Sky Blue's ownership group," said Nalbandian. "Tammy and GM Alyse LaHue have done a tremendous job propelling this club forward. As Vice Chair, I will work closely with them to identify additional ways we can improve club operations."
Nalbandian comes to Sky Blue with more than thirty-five years of executive experience. He served as a successful CEO of three IT services companies and has held executive roles at IBM, AT&T, Cognizant, and Avaya.
"I am delighted to welcome Ed as a member of our ownership group," said Sky Blue Chair Tammy Murphy. "He brings a strong corporate background and a passion for women's soccer. His ability to work with us and focus on financial growth is a skill set that will greatly benefit our club."
Nalbandian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He and his wife of 30 years have two children. Nalbandian's biography can be found at SkyBlueFC.com/Ownership/.
