
Sixers Sign Jarvis Varnado

PHILADELPHIA, PA. - MARCH 12, 2014 - The Philadelphia 76ers today announced that they have signed forward Jarvis Varnado. Per team policy, terms of the agreement are not disclosed.
Varnado originally signed a 10-day contract with the Sixers on March 1, 2014 and at the time, he was the 27th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2013-14 NBA Development League season.
Varnado has appeared in five games for the Sixers this season. At the time of his call-up, he was second in the D-League in rebounding (11.0 rpg) and first in blocks (4.7 bpg) and was named an All-Star as a member of the Iowa Energy.
