Sinclair to DL, Wilson Joins Hawks

South Bend, IN - In conjunction with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the South Bend Silver Hawks have announced that LHP Taylor Sinclair has been placed on the disabled list with a groin injury. RHP Brad Wilson has joined the team to fill the open roster spot.

Sinclair left last night's game after 1.2 innings with the injury. He has been one of South Bend's most consistent pitchers this season, going 2-3 with a 3.80 ERA in 17 games.

Wilson was selected in the 33rd round of this year's First-Year Player Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. The right-hander played collegiately at Cal Poly Pomona, and was 1-0 in five games with Yakima, throwing 8.0 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits with 12 strikeouts and only one walk.

The South Bend roster currently stands at 25 active players plus two on the disabled list. The Midwest League limit is 25 active players.
