
Simpson Stops 37/40 for OHL Leading Seventh Win as Petes Hand 67s Their First Loss

(Ottawa, ON) -Fresh off of a 6-2 win at the PMC against the Soo the night before, the Petes traveled to Ottawa for a Friday night meeting with the undefeated 67s. The Petes would start a line featuring four players from the Ottawa area with Jax Dubois (Ottawa), Connor Lockhart (Kanata), Jonathan Melee (Rockland), and Sam Mayer (L'Orignal) all on the ice for puck drop. The Petes would hand the 67s their first loss of the season by a score of 5-3.
Connor Lockhart and Sam Mayer led the way for the Petes with 3 points each. Michael Simpson was phenomenal in the Petes net, turning away 37/40 shots for his OHL leading 7th win of the season.
