Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors announced Saturday that guard Kobi Simmons signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors.
Simmons, 6-foot-5, 180 pounds, is averaging 15.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 23 games (19 starts) in the regular season. He is shooting .438 (124-283) from the field, .388 (50-129) from the three-point range, and .830 (44-53) from the free throw line.
A native of Milton, GA, Simmons owns NBA career averages of 5.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 17.7 minutes with the Memphis Grizzlies (2017-18), Cleveland Cavaliers (2018-19), and Charlotte Hornets (2022-23). Prior to his professional career, Simmons appeared in 37 career games (19 starts) in his lone season at the University of Arizona. As a Wildcat he averaged 8.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 23.5 minutes.
Simmons becomes the team's 24th NBA Call-Up.
