Windy City Bulls Drop Second Game against Capital City

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Capital City Go-Go 121-99 Sunday afternoon. Windy City was led by guard Jalen Harris with 21 points and six rebounds.

Chicago Bulls two-way forward Henri Drell finished with 19 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo put up a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Windy City took a two-point lead after shooting 53.8 percent from the field in the first quarter. Chicago Bulls two-way forward Andrew Funk led the Bulls with nine points on 3-for-5 shooting from the field. Capital City took over in the second quarter with a 61-53 lead at halftime.

Guard Evan Gilyard scored 10 points in the third quarter for the Bulls, but the Go-Go remained in control with a 13-point lead heading into the final 12 minutes. Windy City scored 60 points in the paint but it wasn't enough in the loss.

Capital City was led by Washington Wizards two-way guard Jules Bernard with 24 points and seven assists. Washington Wizards two-way forward Justin Champagnie finished with 23 points, five rebounds and four assists.

With the loss, Windy City fell to 14-17 in the regular season, Capital City improved to 18-14.

Next up, Windy City will travel to Cleveland to take on the Charge on Wednesday, March 27. The game is slated to tip-off at 6:00PM and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
