Silvertips Release Two Home Playoff Dates, "Believe in Green" Playoff Campaign

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), four time U.S. Division champions, announced the first two playoff home dates at XFINITY Arena for the opening round of the 2016 Silvertips WHL Playoffs, presented locally by Mountain Pacific Bank. The Silvertips have clinched home ice advantage, guaranteeing a maximum of four playoff home games in the opening round against an opponent to be determined and will start the series with game 1 at XFINITY Arena on Friday, Mar. 25 at 7:35 p.m.

Individual tickets for the first round of the playoffs will go on sale tomorrow, 12:00p.m. at the Silvertips offices at XFINITY Arena, by phone at (425) 252-5100 or at www.everettsilvertips.com/tickets.

The Silvertips have released the following schedule for games 1-2:

GAME 1 - Friday, Mar. 25 - Opponent to be determined (XFINITY Arena), 7:35 p.m.

GAME 2 - Saturday, Mar. 26 - Opponent to be determined (XFINITY Arena), 7:05 p.m.

The remainder of the series schedule and opponent will be announced soon.

In association with the Silvertips 13th appearance in the WHL Playoffs in 13 seasons, the #BelieveInGreen playoff campaign encourages fans to rally the Silvertips all throughout the playoffs with their support in attendance at XFINITY Arena, and on each Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account. Additionally, the Silvertips have unveiled an exclusive 2016 Playoffs "Believe In Green" shirt, designed for wear at each playoff game.

Fans can secure their playoff shirt for free by securing a six-game playoff ticket package, starting at only $90, or an opening round mini-series package, guaranteeing the same seats for games 1-2.

The regular season for the Silvertips concludes this Saturday, a 7:05 p.m. road game against the Victoria Royals. With three games to play in the regular season, the Silvertips remain in contention for the U.S. Division title, currently four points behind the Seattle Thunderbirds.

The Silvertips will return to play on Wednesday with a 7:05pm (1380 AM/WHL Live) home game against the Spokane Chiefs. "Midweek Madness" highlights the game with a special ticket offer, presenting two tickets for $20 when purchased online.
