EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) currently lead the first round of the WHL Playoffs, 2-1 and will host Game 5 of their opening round series in downtown Everett on Saturday, 7:05 p.m. vs. the Tri-City Americans at Angel of the Winds Arena. Tickets are on sale at www.everettsilvertips.com/playoffs and Silvertips representatives will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday for Game 5 orders, in addition to in-person at the Silvertips offices at A.O.T.W. Arena.

The Silvertips are meeting the Americans for the fifth time in postseason history and last met in the Western Conference Championship last season, won the Silvertips, 4-2 and advancing to the Rogers WHL Championship Series on an overtime game winning goal by Kevin Davis at Toyota Center. This season, the Silvertips clinched their seventh U.S. Division banner with a record of 47-1-2-3 (99 points).
