Kamloops, BC -- The Victoria Royals scored a pair of third period goals to erase a 2-1 deficit and earn a 3-2 win over the Kamloops Blazers in Game 3 on Tuesday night. The Royals now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Opening the Scoring: Over Victoria's last 20 postseason contests, dating back to the beginning of the 2017 WHL Playoffs, the team that scores the opening goal of the game has earned 18 victories.

Outstanding Outhouse: With his victory tonight, Royals' goaltender Griffen Outhouse set a new franchise record for most career playoff wins at 10. Outhouse passed former Victoria netminder Coleman Vollrath.

Second frame shutdown: This series, the Royals have yet to allow Kamloops to score a single goal in the second period.

Streaking: Carson Miller has now recorded a goal in all three of the Royals' playoff games so far this series.
