
Silvertips Grab Series Lead with 3-1 Win in Game Three

LANGLEY, B.C. - The Everett Silvertips have grabbed the series lead in the Western Conference Quarterfinal, taking a 3-1 final over the Vancouver Giants at the Langley Events Centre Wednesday night.
Parker Berge opened the scoring at 8:50 in the first period, driving a powerplay goal home for his first career playoff tally. Though Logen Hammett would equalize for Vancouver at 5:12 in the second, he would be answered in short order by a Julius Miettinen powerplay goal at 8:49 in the same frame. Dominik Rymon tacked on an insurance goal at 12:14 in the third.
Tyler Palmer dazzled with 30 saves on 31 shots to earn the win. Everett finished two-for-six on the powerplay, while their penalty kill was a perfect four-for-four on the evening.
Game Four is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. in Langley, with Game Five at Angel of the Winds Arena Sunday at 4 p.m.
