
Silver Hawks look to help those in need

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release
South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks in cooperation with the American Red Cross, will host a Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund Collection at Coveleski Stadium Thursday, September 8 to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. By making a financial gift to Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.
Donations to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund can be made with cash or check made payable to the American Red Cross.
The Silver Hawks will play game two of their best of three first round series with the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays Thursday night at the Cove. Game time is slated for 7 PM.
