
Sill leads Wildcats to shut-out win

A hat trick performance by Zach Sill led the Moncton Wildcats to a 5-0 victory over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens Saturday night.
Mark Barberio's power-play goal at 3:56 of the first, turned out to be the eventual game winner. Sill with a short handed effort at 8:26 gave the Cats a 2-0 margin after one.
Sill scored again at 1:48 of the second. Brandon Gormley got Moncton's second power goal at 9:06 of the second and the Wildcats took a four goal margin into the final period.
Zill got the only goal of the third on a setup from Pierre-Marc Lessard and Matt Eagles at 19:48.
Moncton out shot Chicoutimi by a 32-23 margin, the Wildcats went 2 for 6 on the power play while the Sags went 0 for 3.
Zill got the nod as the first star, Nicola Riopel with his fifth shout of the season and 34th win, took second star honors and Brandon Gormley was star number three.
