Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
New Lookouts starter T.J. Sikkema shined in his team debut, striking out seven and earning the win in the team's 2-1 victory.
The two teams traded zeroes until the fourth inning. Jose Torres led off the inning with a single and Pitelli smacked one of his own to put runners on first and third with no outs. Nick Northcut then doubled home Torres and later scored on a balk to give the Lookotus the early 2-0 advantage.
In the sixth Wilfred Veras doubled home Mario Camlletti to cut the lead in half. Carson Rudd came on in the seventh and recorded two shutout innings with two strikeouts. Owen Holt then came on in the ninth to close it out and earn his second save of the season.
Tomorrow is College Football Night at AT&T Field presented by Dr. Pepper. Fans in attendance will have the chance to win a pair of SEC Championship Tickets. Game begins at 7:15 p.m.
