Shuckers and Suns Postponed by Rain on Saturday Night

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Game one of the five-game series in four days was rained out on Saturday night in Huntsville, Alabama. The game will be made up as part of a Sunday doubleheader, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 11:00 a.m. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games with game two starting 30-minutes after the conclusion of game one.

The Shuckers and Suns already have a doubleheader scheduled for Monday as first pitch of that doubleheader will be at 4:40 p.m. Biloxi is 2-5 in seven-inning games this season. The Shuckers are 20-15 and in first place in the Southern League South Division standings.

Game one on Sunday will feature a pitching matchup of RHP Brooks Hall (4-1, 2.19) for the Shuckers against RHP Austin Brice (1-3, 7.18) for Jacksonville. In game two, Southern League wins leader RHP Tyler Wagner (5-0, 1.93) will face off against RHP Jake Esch (3-2, 2.67).
