Sherwin-Williams Becomes Official Paint Partner of Austin FC

Austin, Texas - Austin FC, the 27th Club in Major League Soccer (MLS), announced today Sherwin-Williams as Official Paint Supplier of Austin FC ahead of the Club's inaugural season in 2021. A Fortune 500 company, Sherwin-Williams paint products are being used extensively throughout the privately financed, $260 million Austin FC stadium construction project, on schedule to open in Spring, 2021. The partnership will see Austin FC and Sherwin-Williams embrace community participation by supporting local artists who will paint soccer themed murals throughout Austin, using Sherwin-Williams paint products, to celebrate primary Austin FC milestones as the Club heads towards its inaugural season in 2021.
"Sherwin-Williams coatings are being applied now to the stadium," commented Andy Loughnane, President of Austin FC. "Sherwin-Williams expertise, quality, and community- oriented philosophy will wholly complement our goals as a Club."
As part of the agreement, Sherwin-Williams will also run interactive fan programs at the H-E-B Plaza at the Austin FC stadium, engaging with supporters before the Club's 2021 home fixtures.
