
New York Red Bulls Loan Mathias Jorgensen to Aarhus Gymnastikforening

HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls have loaned forward Mathias Jørgensen to Aarhus Gymnastikforening, the club announced today. Jørgensen joins the Denmark side on a six-month loan, with an option to purchase.
"We wish Mathias luck as he goes out on loan," said Head of Sports Kevin Thelwell. "This is a good opportunity for him to continue his development and gain a new set of experiences."
Jorgensen signed with New York in 2019 and has made 13 MLS regular-season appearances in 381 minutes played. The Danish striker has also logged time with New York Red Bulls II, tallying 22 matches with 11 goals in 1,814 minutes played. He has also seen time with Denmark's youth national team while at New York, recently logging an appearance for the Under-21 team in an International Friendly against Slovakia.
