Rewind the Tape:

3.19.08 - Worcester 4 - Bridgeport 2 - DCU Center

After outshooting their opponent in nine of the last 10 games, the Worcester Sharks used a different tactic in Wednesday evening's 4-2 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Despite being outshot 31-24, the Sharks were efficient, capitalizing four times for the impressive victory. Goaltender Dimitri Patzold continued his dazzling play in net, making 29 saves on 31 shots to extend his streak of gaining points to five games.

3.21.08 - Worcester 4 - Bridgeport 5 (OT) - DCU Center

In perhaps the wildest ending in Worcester Sharks history, the Sharks scored two goals in the final 21 seconds of the third period to force overtime, but fell to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 5-4 in the extra session on Friday evening. The Sharks took a 2-0 lead into the third period before allowing four straight Sound Tiger goals to give Bridgeport a two-goal lead with under 45 seconds remaining in the hockey game. Ashton Rome scored with 21 seconds remaining and Tom Walsh scored the unbelievable tying goal with just 2.5 seconds left in the third period.

3.22.08 - Worcester 2 - Albany 3 - DCU Center

After Friday night's dramatic conclusion, a two goal deficit in the third period seemed to be another miracle in waiting. But the Worcester Sharks only closed half the gap this time, falling by a 3-2 count to the Albany River Rats on Saturday night at the DCU Center. Sharks goaltender Thomas Greiss, making his first start in three games, stopped 24 of 27 shots sent his way.
