
Donati And Mckenzie Headed To Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators loaned today right wing Tyler Donati to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. In addition, the Ottawa Senators reassigned today right wing Jim McKenzie to Elmira from Binghamton.
Donati, a native of Oakville, Ontatio, has six goals, 12 assists and 26 penalty minutes in 53 games with the B-Sens this year. The 21-year-old skated in two games with the Jackals earlier this season, collecting no goals and three assists.
McKenzie, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, has two goals, one assist and 15 penalty minutes in 18 games with Binghamton this season. McKenzie, 23, has seven goals, seven assists and 39 penalty minutes in 39 total games with Elmira this season.
McKenzie was Ottawa's fifth-round pick, 141st overall, in the 2004 NHL entry draft.
The Jackals (38-20-3-4, 83 pts.) are currently in second place in the North Division and have secured a playoff spot.
The B-Sens, now 5-0-3-0 over their last eight games, continue their march toward a Calder Cup playoff spot when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs on Wednesday night.
